Tony is the founder and CEO of NextWave Consulting and has 30 years of big-firm consultancy, startup, and enterprise experience across business, digital and technology, working with some of the world’s leading banks and financial institutions.
Tony has worked at Accenture, m.a.partners, and was a founding team member at Crossbridge. More recently, as Synechron MD and Head of the UK business, Tony ran the UK Consulting, Digital and Technology practices, growing the UK regional business from 60 heads in London in 2015 to $70m revenue and 950 heads across UK and India today. He is a passionate advocate and industry speaker on all things digital and has a strong industry network. Tony is a board advisor to two London fintechs and a mentor to aspiring professionals at Generation Success events.
Iain is a founding partner of NextWave and has 30 years of Financial Services experience in business change, technology delivery, data and architecture; across Finance, Risk, Operations and Front Office. Iain held senior roles in Technology and Global Markets Operations at HSBC for 11 years and prior to that was a Partner at Detica / m.a.partners (niche Financial Markets consultancy).
Iain has spent his career in consulting and industry, in both technology and business change and technology roles across multiple functions and is a specialist in shaping and managing strategic large-scale programmes, and is skilled in simplifying complex scenarios, managing conflicts and interests in order to enable delivery.
Charles is Founding Commercial Partner & Chief Growth Officer at NextWave. He is responsible for developing key client and partner relationships while guiding the strategic growth and people agenda of the business. Charles has 20+ years’ consultancy experience in financial services across Banking, Asset & Wealth Management and Insurance supporting clients with business, technology and regulatory transformation. He was previously Co-owner of S&H Consulting, guiding strategic growth and responsible for day-to-day management of the business. Charles is a trusted advisor to C-Suite & Senior Leadership, helping them build future facing businesses. He is passionate about shaping high-performing teams and mentoring new talent. Prior to his career in Financial Services, Charles wrote an award-winning PhD in International Relations.
Phil has 20 years+ Financial Services experience delivering business transformation and process excellence across leading European banks including HSBC, Credit Suisse and Santander. Phil was most recently led the transformation portfolio for the global business CFO’s at HSBC including Product Control. Prior to this at Credit Suisse, Phil held leadership roles including Derivatives IT, Trade Management IT and European CIO for the Investment Bank.
Phil has spent his career hands-on across the front and bank office with roles covering e-Commerce, Trading Risk & Pricing, Credit & Market Risk, Finance, Product Control, Reference Data and High-Performance Compute.
Stuart has 25 years of experience in top-tier global banks including Barclays and Credit Suisse and has successfully led global change programmes and portfolios with annual budgets of £100 – £200m. At Barclays he held MD level change management roles in Risk, Finance and Technology including Head of Risk and Finance Strategic Change and Head of Finance Change. Stuart is recognised for being highly organised, execution-focused and data-driven and has delivered on multi-jurisdiction global change programmes across Regulation, Risk & Finance
Kirstie has 30 years financial services experience in business change, technology delivery and transformation within top-tier Investment Banking and Asset Management Institutions including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and HSBC. Kirstie was the CIO of HSBC Asset Management for over 3 years and has also held a variety of senior Global Head of IT roles on the sell-side at HSBC including global responsibility for KYC / client onboarding, compliance, financial crime, data, global market sales and research and operational utilities. Kirstie is a creative, forward-thinking, and results-driven transformation agent who possesses deep commercial experience in the leadership and management of global technology portfolios and functions.
Phil has worked for both buy and sell side institutions, as well consulting firms Synechron, m.a.Partners and Crossbridge, and has a broad experience across capital markets functions and process with firms including LGIM, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, RBS, Investec. Phil has successfully established and grown digital eco-system partnerships and understands how new technology and techniques can combine to bring about innovative change working closely with business, technology, data, experience design and research leaders. The green agenda is a more recent interest where Phil is active in learning about ESG and Sustainable Finance development and innovation, and follows the major global industry groups, leaders, regulators, and the development of regulation and taxonomies. Phil is married, has one daughter, who has recently moved out of home, and has a one-year-old miniature schnauzer dog. Sailing is Phil’s passion outside of work where he regularly competes at a club and national level. He also enjoys cycling, walking, and likes to go to most sporting events. Travel is also up there!
I have a background in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, and in my spare time enjoy hiking and creating computational art. Since university, I have gained two years of experience within the FinTech industry as a Bespoke Data Analyst. I am excited to be joining the NextWave Team as an Associate Consultant and look forward to engaging in the exciting upcoming projects.
Jacopo has a background in Mechanical Engineering and over 15 years’ experience working in the gambling industry, where he acquired extensive knowledge of AML regulations, FCA, KYC and GDPR policies and procedures. He is a certified Quantexa Data Engineer and is currently working in the R&D department at Quantexa, focusing on developing, deploying, and maintaining demos for new use cases of the platform, opening new market possibilities.

Hi, I’m Peter, I graduated from the University of Exeter, where I studied Mathematics and Physics, in 2021. My dissertation focus was surrounding the future of Quantum Computing, including implementations of such devices, and implications on cryptosystems, specifically with regards to cyber security. Since then, I have worked as a Technical Business Analyst at a SaaS company within the Insurance industry for the past year, and am keen to now develop and apply my learned knowledge to the FinTech industry.
I’m Anni, I have just graduated from the University of St. Andrews where I studied Mathematics. My research interests included data manipulation and creative problem solving. My dissertation combined Complex Analysis with the illusional artwork by artist M.C. Escher, exploring the mathematics behind his work. I am a logical and analytical thinker, and enjoy collaborative environments. As a recent graduate, I am excited to begin my career as an Associate Consultant at NextWave, and make my mark on the FinTech industry.
Rosie is an Associate Consultant at NextWave. She will use Appian’s low-code platform to help build and implement next-generation technology solutions for clients. Rosie has recently graduated with a first-class BSc Finance and Business degree and was acknowledged as a top student on the course. She has a background in working with quantitative and qualitative data. Throughout her degree, Rosie also worked in a fast-paced environment, she is well-versed in multitasking, meeting deadlines and building and maintaining client relationships.
Satyam Bajpai is a Data Engineer at NextWave where he uses his spark/scala and big data knowledge to tackle financial crimes such as AML, credit risk etc. He is currently working with HSBC as a Quantexa data engineer. He is a certified engineer from Quantexa Academy. Satyam has a deep background in computer science with bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering, as well as an Msc in Scientific Computing and Data Analysis.
Tim is an Associate Consultant at NextWave, he will design and implement Appian low code solutions for clients, as well as develop technical solutions to support their business strategy. He previously worked as a project manager, delivering multifaceted projects within time parameters. Tim has a strong background in stakeholder management working within an agile environment. He is from a Geography and Economics background where he has worked with qualitative and quantitative data.
I have a master’s degree in geomatics and a passion for programming. Throughout my career, I have contributed as a software engineer and scriptwriter, to a wide range of activities, from developing web surveys for market research purposes to implementing Global Navigation Satellite Systems solutions in the space and defence, timing, maritime, and railway industries. Being part of the NextWave Consulting team gives me the chance to transform the financial services industry’s challenges into opportunities and to provide genuine business advantages for clients, with a focus on new technology platforms that enable large scale transformation.
I am a recent physics graduate from the University of Bath. I particularly enjoyed the computational side of my degree and am therefore excited to solve problems using, for example, the Appian platform. I have prior experience working in project management alongside a number of consultants. I live in London and enjoy playing a number of sports, as well as having a side interest in photography.
Banumathi is a Computer Science Engineering Graduate who is passionate about developing applications with Appian. She has nearly 1.75 years experience working as Associate Consultant and also has completed Appian Senior Developer Certification (L2). She is eagerly looking forward to work with Nextwave team.
Sharmi holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management and a postgraduate degree in Business Analytics. She has extensive experience working for a leading data and insights consultancy firm, where she utilized her analytical skillset to drive automation across the finance function. Sharmi has worked on various projects involving integration of different technologies and tools to meet the financial needs of senior stakeholders.
Chenghua is a certified Appian lead developer with experience in delivering Appian projects for various British and international organisations across multiple industries including financial services and public sector. His interest lies in intelligent automation, web services and software development. He holds a PhD degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in telecommunications.
Aleksandra is a Data Engineer at Nextwave, working closely with Quantexa – providing organisations with a platform with which they can easily view their data as well as how it’s connected (using Scala/Spark), thus enabling them to make better and more informed decisions. Aleksandra comes from a Software Engineering background, after completing a BSc in Computer Science.
Moved to London in 2018 to take on a Senior Business Analyst position at State Street Global Services, providing complete investment servicing solutions to some of the biggest Asset Managers around the world. He joined State Street Global Services in 2016, as an Investment reporting analyst in Amsterdam. Prior to joining State Street, he worked at KYCnet (currently Equiniti) for 2 years as KYC/Compliance Analyst.
Catherine Okuboyejo is a Data Engineer at NextWave where she leverages Scala/Spark and other big data technologies within the Quantexa platform for contextual data intelligence, empowering organisations to make better decisions from their data. Catherine came to this field from a background in sleep research and fatigue risk management after completing an MSc in Bioinformatics.
Alisa has over 20 years Financial Services experience in business change as well as BAU activities. With experience in Product Control, Financial Control, IT, Front Office and operational teams, she has a broad first-hand knowledge of how businesses work and the challenges they face. Alisa has extensive experience of shaping requirements into tangible books of work and communicating complex ideas to multiple stakeholder groups to enhance business buy in and acceptance of transformation. A natural problem solver, Alisa is keen to solve today’s business problems with the latest technology to deliver user-friendly, efficient and effective solutions that help business users.
Vladimir is a digital transformation & change management professional with strong process improvement and quantitative background. With over ten years of consulting experience focused on programme management, digital, quantitative and tech projects worked for top financial institutions including Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Citi and Generali as well as multiple private equity companies.
Anil is a Credit & Lending SME and has delivered business and regulatory changes across Wholesale Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management and Student Lending. Some of his key deliveries include a Credit Operating Model rollout across EMEA, credit workflow rollout globally and splitting the bank as part of the Structural Reform Regulation. Anil is a certified Project Manager (PMP) and a Scrum master (CSM). He holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in IT.
Snehal’s early career was in Mid-Back Office BA roles and then moving over to Front Office in the IB space implementing and delivering new solutions and redefining business processes. She has worked on numerous complex large-scale projects throughout her career delivering best in class practices by being able to produce detailed requirements, gap analysis, solution design to process implementation.
Nicholas has almost 20 years financial services experience in industry and consulting roles. He has worked on numerous greenfield, business change and TOM projects in investment banking, wealth & asset management, online trading and market infrastructure. Recently he has been involved with large global regulatory change projects implementing enhanced controls and governance, focusing on E2E systems and process analysis. His previous projects include FX trading, MiFID2 transaction reporting, Order Management Systems and OTC derivative trade confirmations.
My career has always been within the IT sector, from 1st line support through consultancy to project management. Approximately 20 years ago I was introduced to business process management which has been the centre of my career from then on, working within all business sectors to deliver all manner of strategic solutions, most recently responsible for the technical delivery of a global HR digital transformation solution. I live in a village in Wiltshire with my lazy Labrador and have 2 children. Outside of work I enjoy fishing, mountain biking and playing rugby for my local club.
Over 15 years experience of using various BPM technologies, from Process Mapping and Re-Engineering, through to delivering transformational solutions using Low-Code tools such as Appian. Dai is very experienced in embedding low-code toolsets into the wider architecture of organisations to utilise data and automation opportunities.

Nidhi advises financial services and banks on how to advance their digital journey & build sustainable AI ecosystem using Product and Platform management capabilities. As an accomplished Engineer, Program manager, Scrum master, Enterprise architect & Credit Coach, Nidhi has built & mentored large teams delivering on future ready solutions that reduced cost & risk while improving revenue.
Adam’s early career placed him at the centre of Front and Middle office roles at Tier 1 institutions in the IB and Asset Management spaces giving him a front-to-back working knowledge of the trade lifecycle, as well as hands-on experience in the investment process on both, buy and sell sides. This experience in his later career has been brought to bear on large, complex greenfield and change programs in leading IB, Asset and Wealth clients ranging from full trading systems builds to clean execution of regulatory change.
Andy has been involved with Financial Services IT for the majority of his career. Initially working as a BA / pre-sales consultant for a large systems house supplying tier 1 Banks, he then moved onto online consumer portfolio, trading and asset management websites. He spent a large proportion of his recent career implementing sanctions screening systems for Tier 1 and 2 Financial Institutions both in house and as an independent consultant. Andy has also spent a brief period implementing web based local govt services and most recently as a Data Quality analyst on contract to the MoD.
A seasoned entrepreneur and strategist, Natalie is the Managing Partner of NextWave Americas.
Previously, Natalie co-founded the risk consulting firm Efficient Frontiers International. As Chief of Staff, she played a pivotal role in scaling the firm to over 200 people in three years.
Natalie first worked with the NextWave team in 2021, when she joined Tony Clark in London as the Interim COO. She was responsible for creating structure, systems, and processes that remain in place today. She pursued her MBA at Duke University from 2021 to 2023, remaining in close contact with the firm.
In 2023, Natalie re-joined the NextWave team with the objective of expanding its American footprint. Passionate about shaping high-performing teams and delivering excellence to clients, Natalie consistently strives to achieve outstanding results.

Amanda is a Partner - Retail Banking and Payments at NextWave Americas. In this new role, she is focused on building a portfolio of clients that includes banks, fintechs, and payment organizations, driving digital transformation and innovation across the payment ecosystem.
Amanda is also the founder of AGE Advisors, an advisory group specializing in financial guidance for startups and fintech founders. She also serves as a startup financial advisor for TrubAI and offer strategic insights tailored to emerging companies.
With deep expertise in the payments space, Amanda previously served as a Delivery Partner at Endava, where she led strategic direction, vision, and growth for a diverse portfolio of retail banking clients across North America. In this role, she delivered transformative solutions in emerging payment technologies, AI, financial inclusion, account-to-account (A2A) transfers, bill pay, and core modernization of payment infrastructures.
Before Endava, Amanda worked at Synchrony and sharpened her expertise by managing key relationships with industry giants such as American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, FIS, and PayPal. Working within the Synchrony Payment Networks Team, she played a pivotal role in developing and executing Synchrony’s payment growth strategy. Amanda identified opportunities and challenges for strategic clients, positioning herself as a critical link between financial institutions and technology partners. Her strategic initiatives included driving the adoption of contactless cards ( 2018-2020)—widely used globally but less prevalent in the U.S.—as well as launching premium credit card products like VISA Signature and Mastercard World. Additionally, Amanda owned Synchrony's relationship with Worldpay, helping to establish a new program that enabled Synchrony’s CareCredit healthcare payment card to be accepted at Walgreens, significantly expanding its reach and utility for consumers

Previously, Ken built and managed the North American region of a midsized global consulting company specializing in capital markets trading technology. Based in New York, Ken built the business to over 200 consultants, located in 5 offices across North America, generating over $30 million in ARR.
Starting his professional consulting career at Accenture, Ken has held various positions as project manager, technical architect, business analyst, developer, and as programmer, building technology solutions for large money center banks.
Ken has over 25 years of experience in working for smaller, niche consultancies focused on the capital markets industry and is an expert in managing large and complex technology and business deployments, practice management, and delivery oversight.
